Remains the Bucs' starting middle linebacker but missed four games in 2006 through injury and is battling ongoing concussion issues. Fought off the challenge of rookie Barrett Ruud for his starting job the year before, and proceeded to have one of his best seasons ever at middle linebacker for the No.1 ranked defense in the NFL. Played in the 2003 Pro Bowl as a late alternate replacement. Has started every game at that he was active for since 2002 having switched from the outside position during that off-season. Former undrafted free agent who played for the British Columbia Lions in the Canadian Football League in 1995 and 1996 and then made the Buc roster in 1997 as a special teamer.
Pro Bowl selection 2002.
Selected as the 21st Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
