Former Jet who played in half the games in the 1984 season having come over to Tampa Bay in a trade. Missed the first five games of that season with a knee injury but then saw situational time for the rest of the season. His TD reception came in one of his two Buc starts, in the road game at Kansas City. Had spent seven seasons with the Jets having originally been a 4th round pick back in 1977. Had been the second leading rusher in Purdue history when he graduated, only for Mike Alstott to break most of these records further in the 1990s. In 1981, he and former Jet team-mate Joe Klecko won the NFL's arm-wrestling contest.
