Profile
Signed as a free agent in November 2003 but was only active for one game against Houston in December. Played in 77 games with 62 starts since being drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the fourth round (98th overall) in 1998. After three seasons with the Rams, Williams was acquired by Gruden and the Raiders through a 2001 trade and he immediately had his most productive season as a pro, recording 33 catches for 298 yards and three touchdowns. Williams' career stats include 111 catches for 983 yards and 13 touchdowns. His top season as a Ram came in 1999, when he hauled in 25 passes for 226 yards and a career-high six touchdowns.
