Profile
Alternated between the No.2 and No.3 spots behind Brad Johnson during 2002 but did win his two starts in Carolina and Chicago when Brad was out hurt. Infuriated Jon Gruden at times however by going outside the gameplan to make highlight reel plays. Also sustained his usual incredibly high amount of sacks. Released by the Buffalo Bills in January after four injury-plagued seasons as their starting QB and signed to a one-year contract by the Bucs. Had been traded to Buffalo by Jacksonville in 1998 for a 1st and 4th round draft pick after serving as Mark Brunell's back-up for two seasons. Went to the Redskins after leaving Tampa and ended the 2003 season with the Raiders.
