Profile
The first overall pick of the 1977 draft but one who never really lived up to that billing, particularly when you consider that John McKay chose him over Tony Dorsett who went to the Cowboys with the second selection. Bell was at his best in the playoff run of 1979 but his numbers went downhill after that and was traded to San Diego after five seasons in Tampa Bay. Sadly in 1984, he passed away as a result of heart problems.
Selected as the 18th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
