Profile
Late round steal of a pick who started for over three seasons on the defensive line but was always known as a better player of the run than the pass. Did score an NFL touchdown against the Bears in 1989 when he picked off a deflected Jim Harbaugh pass and rumbled 13 yards for the score. Had started for four seasons before Sam Wyche arrived who decided he was not able to play his style of defense and hence packed him off to Arizona in a steal of a trade. Played a season with the Cardinals and then three more starting in San Diego before retiring after the 1995 NFL season.
