Profile
Former 1,000-yard rusher with the Redskins who was picked up on waivers prior to the 1996 season. With Errict Rhett holding out, Brooks started the first four games and had a 100-yard game in Denver. On Rhett's return, he found himself on the bench more, and with the rookie Mike Alstott coming into his own as the season wore on, he was inactive for most of the final games of that season and was cut in camp the following year.
