Profile
One of two replacement players, Brian Gant being the other, who made the regular roster for the rest of the season when the 1987 strike ended after three games. Was named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week for his two-interception game against the Lions that included a TD. Led the Bucs in interceptions for the entire 1987 season. Got to start the season finale against the Colts and had a career-high 12 tackles in the game. Was a late cut of the 1988 camp. Had been in Buc camp during the 1987 pre-season but was cut in the final roster cutdown. Also played in the CFL for Toronto in 1986. Originally wore the 26 shirt as a replacement and then switched to 24 when a regular player.
