New York Jets
All-time record: 1-8
The Bucs and the Jets have met nine times over the years, but only once have the Buccaneers come out victorious. But what a memorable game it was. It was the 1984 season finale and John McKay's last game as head coach. In an attempt to get James Wilder the NFL record for rushing/receiving in a single season, McKay ordered his defense to let the Jets score at the end of the game. It ended in fisticuffs on the field and also led to some serious payback the following season in the Meadowlands when the Jets ran up the single highest point score ever against the Bucs. The most recent meeting in 2005, was the scene of Vinny Testaverde coming out of retirement to lead the Jets to victory against his old team.
