Spent four seasons as the back-up middle linebacker behind Shelton Quarles and played extensively in Super Bowl XXXVII. Saw a lot more playing time in 2003 but remained a key part of the special teams' coverage squads. Went on to play two injury-plagued years in Cincinnati and then three more with more success in Denver. Came out of college a year early with a rap for off-field problems, but was a model citizen in the pros. Unfortunately this did not last after leaving the NFL and in June 2012, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for sex with an underage girl.
