Known as a specialist blocking tight end who signed with the Bucs early in October 2012. Appeared in the final 11 games and made two starts when the Bucs opened in a heavy-run formation. Caught his first NFL touchdown in the win in Carolina in November. Was originally a 6th round pick of the 49ers in the 2010 draft and played 14 games as a rookie before missing the entire 2011 season through injury.
