Draft preview - specialists
I think that three kickers stand out as likely to be drafted Mason Crosby (Colorado), Justin Medlock (UCLA) and Nick Folk (Arizona). Crosby is by far the best prospect here and could be drafted in the first day he has the strongest leg in the draft can hit from beyond the 50 yard line and is superb on kickoffs he could be one of the best prospects to come along in a few years at this position.

Folk and Medlock both showed well at the combine and could make a team, Folk is more likely as a kick off specialist but this is probably a case of if you don’t draft Crosby then don’t bother drafting one at all.

There are two punters that stand out in this year's draft and my favourite has to be Baylor’s Daniel Sepulveda, when a punter looks like he could beat up a teams running back that can only be a good thing.

Sepulveda was originally a walk on linebacker he is now a three-time all American and a two-time Ray Guy Award Winner. Has a very strong leg but has a tendency to out kick his coverage, appears to enjoy covering his own kicks and could be taken in the middle of the draft.

Adam Podlesh (Maryland) doesn’t have as a strong leg as Sepulveda, is a good athlete and gets his kicks off very quickly, will probably be a second day pick, is probably slightly more accurate than Sepulveda but all round not as good of a prospect.

As usual there are no long snappers that are worth drafting and unlike last year, there don’t appear to be many prospects that would be drafted because of the ability on kicks.

DeAndre Jackson (Iowa State) is a decent Cover 2 corner who is also dangerous on kicks so he probably helps himself the most on special teams. Obviously Ted Ginn Jr can return kicks but you just need to not get anywhere near him while he is celebrating.
