Profile
Was released in the final roster cutdown in September 2009 having missed much of the pre-season with a hamstring problem. Had proven to be as reliable a kicker from inside the 40 as there is in the NFL with another successful 2008 season. Made all 27 fieldgoal attempts from inside the 40 although from outside the range he continued to misfire. Made history with his 62-yard game-winning fieldgoal against the Eagles in October 2006. It was the longest fieldgoal in Buccaneer history and was just a yard short of the NFL record held by Tom Dempsey and Jason Elam. Originally joined the Bucs in 2005 as a free agent and beat out Todd France for the job in camp. Had previously been in the NFL with four other teams including a season with the New York Giants.
Selected as the 48th best player in franchise history in a 2011 countdown on BUCPOWER.COM.
