Profile
Started every game at strong safety as a rookie and showed real potential to be a run-stuffing force in the box and aggressive hitter across the middle. Recorded his first NFL interception in the win over the Chiefs in October. Was the Bucs' first 2012 draft pick and the seventh overall selection. Was a focal point of an Alabama defense that paced the country in scoring defense (8.15 ppg), total defense (183.62 ypg), pass defense (111.46 ypg), and rush defense (72.15 ypg) in 2011. Switched to the 23 jersey in 2013 to allow Darrelle Revis to keep his regular 24 number.
