Profile
Started all three replacement games at strong safety. Played three years in the USFL and was the league's Defensive Player of the Year in 1984 when he had 12 interceptions for the Oakland Invaders. Subsequently traded to the Tampa Bay Bandits for the 1985 season. Will go down in the record books as the USFL's all-time leader in interceptions with 23. Had not appeared in the NFL before the strike games and never played in it again afterwards. Was running a fishing business with his father when he got the call to play for the replacement Buccaneers.
