Signed as a free agent after the rookie minicamp the week after the draft. Made the full roster out of camp and was a gameday inactive for the first five games before returning to the practice squad where he spent the rest of the season. Did not make the 2010 team out of training camp or either the following season in 2011. Had became a fixture on the South Florida Bulls' offensive line after first moving into the lineup as a freshman. He continued to help the team on both sides of the line in 2008 and finished with a total of 51 games played, tying a school record.
