Another former USC player who found himself re-united with ex-coach John McKay in the expansion season of 1976. Used mainly on special teams as a returner during that winless campaign. Was originally a 9th round pick of the 49ers in 1974 and used primarily as a return specialist by San Francisco during his two seasons on the West Coast. Only had 13 other carries in his pro career (all with the Niners) and three receptions, but did play 12 games on special teams for the Vikings on leaving the Bucs. Also played professional rugby league in Australia in 1977.
