The real surprise find of the 2012 season having made the team as undrafted free agent. Began as a special teams coverage player and occasional nickel safety who moved into the starting line-up by November and had six starts at corner in the process. Had interceptions across three straight games and recorded his first NFL touchdown in the win against San Diego. Is a Clearwater native who attended Largo High School before starting for four years in the Iowa State secondary.
