Played in 10 games in 2011 primarily on special teams but did see some action at safety late in the season. Originally joined the Bucs in November 2010 when he was signed from the Cleveland Browns' practice squad and recorded his first NFL interception in the win over New Orleans. Originally entered the league as a fifth-round selection (160th overall) of the Browns in the 2010 draft. At the University of Nebraska, he started in 36 of 39 games and registered 224 tackles, one sack, three forced fumbles and three interceptions, while earning first-team All-Big 12 honors as a senior.
