Won a starting role at right end coming out of camp but almost by default than ability. Started all seven games he played before going on Injured Reserve after the Atlanta road game. Still to record his first NFL sack. Was inactive for the first seven games of his rookie season because of injury but returned to play in all but one game after the bye week as part of the defensive line rotation and played both end and tackle. A two-year starter at USC with seven sacks over those two seasons for the PAC-10 team. Did not make the 2011 team out of training camp.
