Started for most of his six-year career with the Buccaneers but not really based on performance in that time. Always under fire from the coaching staff and fans alike, he was eventually released after an injury-hit 2006 season in which he was placed on IR after just three starts at right tackle. Started every game in 2005 but saw little competition for his services in free agency following that season and hence returned to the Bucs in an incentive-laden contract. One of the most highly-rated players in the 2001 draft, the Bucs traded up to the 14th spot in the first round to select him. Did not play elsewhere in the NFL after leaving Tampa Bay.
