Played in three of the first five games as back-up to Carnell Williams but was then placed on injured reserve and then released after the end of the 2010 season. Led the Bucs in rushing in the pre-season with 134 yards at an average of 5.4 per carry. Originally signed as a free agent after the rookie minicamp the week after the 2009 draft and was signed to the practice squad after pre-season ended and stayed there for 12 games before being promoted to the main roster in December. Played special teams in three of the final four games and was a gameday inactive in New Orleans.
