Saw action in the first two replacement games as the starting QB. Played three seasons with the Tampa Bay Bandits in the USFL (as pictured below) and passed for over 10,000 yards as a Bandit. Spent nine previous seasons in the NFL with the Eagles, Bengals, Vikings and Oilers. Leads the Bandits in all their franchise passing marks including 62 TDs through the air. Passed for 3,617 yards in all in his NFL career, 1,508 of which came in his rookie year of 1972 in Philadelphia after he had been the Eagles' first-round pick that season. Never played in the NFL again once the strike had ended.
