Profile
One of the greatest Buccaneer players ever and a vocal team leader and inspiration on the Super Bowl-winning defense. Was always a fan favourite around the NFL and had five Pro Bowl selections during his time in Tampa Bay. A nine-year starter at strong safety, his hard-hitting nature moved him into a regular starting role in 1995. Released in March 2004 in an unpopular move with the fans, but one necessitated by his large salary cap figure for 2004 and went on to play several seasons with Denver. Now an excellent TV analyst with Fox Sports who also teams up with Chris Myers for the Buccaneer pre-season games.
