Profile
Hampered by a groin injury during 2008, posted his lowest numbers of his five-year Buccaneer career and was released at the end of the 2008 season. Was sparingly used after his return and eight of his 13 receptions came in the two games before he got hurt. Was a DNP and healthy inactive in the Carolina and Atlanta road games. Had become the first Buccaneer receiver to record three 1,000-yard seasons after another year in 2007 as the deep threat of the Tampa Bay offense and a succession of big play touchdowns. Recorded the second-best receiving season in franchise history in 2005 behind Mark Carrier's 1989 campaign and only narrowly missed being selected to his first Pro Bowl. Injured in his first game for the Bucs in 2004 and missed nearly two months but returned to rank second amongst Buc WRs in receptions, yards and TDs. Came to the Bucs in return for Keyshawn Johnson before the 2004 season. Originally a first round pick of the Seahawks in 1995.
Selected as the 27th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
