Started every game at left end until injury kept him out of the season finale. Ranked second on the team in sacks including three in the Philadelphia game but did not have any after the Green Bay game. Had proven to be a versatile member of both the defensive line and special teams squads during 2008 and played in every game making a start in the road game in Atlanta at defensive tackle. Had been signed in the early days of free agency from the Chiefs having spent the previous five seasons in Kansas City after being selected in the sixth round (189th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.
