Began the 2012 season starting at center but moved to left guard when Carl Nicks went on IR and started there the remainder of the season. Had signed a contract extention after the 2011 season having played most offensive line positions since arriving in Tampa. Was the Bucs' 3rd round pick in the 2008 draft who played four different offensive line positions during his college career and made 40 starts in four seasons under Greg Schiano with the Scarlet Knights (2004-07) and was a two-time First Team All-Big East Conference.
