Profile
Played four seasons in Tampa, starting most of three of them at cornerback. Never one of the biggest players in the defensive backfield, he still managed to lead the team in interceptions in 1985. Played briefly for Denver after being cut by the Buccaneers. Was a consensus All-American at Alabama and was the Bucs' chapel leader during his time in Tampa. Lost his starting position during 1986 first through injury and then through poor play and wound up that season in the nickel back position. Left college as the Crimson Tide's all-time interception leader with 16.
