Only played the 1984 season seeing action in two-tight end sets near the end of the season along with Jimmie Giles and Jerry Bell. Caught his only TD pass for the Bucs in the season finale against the Jets and never appeared for Tampa Bay again. Was a strong part of the special teams' squad in 1984 and finished sixth on the team in tackles. Was the 169th overall pick of the 1984 draft having led the Minnesota Gophers in receiving his senior year at college.
