Began the season as a back-up but moved into the starting right guard position in Week 5 replacing Ted Larsen and did an excellent job there for the rest of the year. Originally entered the league as a fifth-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2009 and has seen regular-season action for three teams: the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2011, he got into four games for the Steelers after signing with the team in the middle of September.
