Profile
The only Buc to have won an Olympic gold medal as he was part of the 1976 American 4x100 relay team at the Montreal Games. Spent four seasons with Tampa Bay, his numbers diminishing every season from 1981 when he was part of the three-headed Buc backfield team with James Wilder and Jerry Eckwood. Missed all but four games of his final season in Tampa with a knee injury sustained on a kick return. In 1983, he set a Buccaneer record by scoring touchdowns in five consecutive games. Was originally drafted by the 49ers in 1979 in the 2nd round as a wide receiver and only switched to the backfield on being traded to the Bucs.
