Profile
Obtained to replace Doug Williams for what turned out to be the first pick of the 1984 draft. Started the final 13 games of the 1983 season and the first three of the 1984 campaign before being replaced by Steve DeBerg. Released at the end of the 1984 season and never played in the NFL again. Had originallly been the 3rd overall pick in the 1979 draft but never played to his potential in Cincinnati and left the team during 1982 following a lawsuit over non-striker's rights during the two-month break in that season. Was known as "The Throwin' Samoan".
