Played in the first four games of the season strictly on special teams before being waived with an injury settlement. Had been re-signed to the Bucs' roster at the end of September 2002 and played the remaining 13 games of the season as a key member of the special teams' squads. Originally signed by the Buccaneers as a free agent on April 4, 2002 having played in 32 regular season contests and three postseason games with the New York Giants in 2000 and 2001. Was a member of the Giants’ team which participated in Super Bowl XXXV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
