Profile
One of the most popular and hard-working Bucs ever, he did more to revitalise the new-Bucs on the arrival of Tony Dungy than any other player. Originally signed from Pittsburgh as a free agent, he tled the Tampa Bay linebacking corps from the inside position. Moved to the middle in Dungy's 4-3 alignment and went to four Pro Bowls in the process. Left as a free agent when the Jaguars offered him a ludicrous contract and suffered through two injury-plagued years before being waived in the 2002 off-season. He spent 2002 as a long-past-his-best veteran in Green Bay, proving the Bucs had seen the best seven years of his career. In 2006, he became the Buccaneers' radio color analyst joining Gene Deckerhof in the booth at every game.
Pro Bowl selection 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.
Was elected to the Bucs UK Hall of Fame in 2003.
Selected as the 4th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
