Started 13 games at weakside linebacker but was benched for three weeks in the middle of the season. His tendency to miss assignments and over-pursue plays leaves him now as a weak link on the starting defense having shown a lot of promise in the previous two years. Had made the 2008 team as a back-up linebacker and special teams coverage man and was excelling in both areas and scored a touchdown on a punt block before being placed on IR at mid-season. Was the Bucs' 6th round pick in the 2008 NFL draft and the 175th overall selection.
