Replacment team player who started all three games at nose tackle. Was a three-year starter at the same position for the Tampa Bay Bandits and had 15 sacks in the 1983 season to earn all-USFL honours. Also played with the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL and was working in aluminium sales in Lakeland, Florida, when the Bucs called to offer him a job. Remains the Bandits' all-time leading sack leader with 29.5 during their franchise history. Had not appeared in the NFL before the strike games and never played in it again afterwards.
