Played in nine games and made three starts around a short stint back on the practice squad. Was primarily on the defense as a big body on the line to help stop the run but did not show much during his second NFL season. Had been signed from the practice squad in November 2010 to replace Ryan Sims on the defensive line. Originally entered the NFL as a 5th round pick of the Houston Texans in 2009 and was with the AFC team for two seasons albeit mostly a gameday inactive. Was briefly with Seattle in 2010 without appearing in a game and was signed to the Bucs' practice squad in October 2010.
