The 1979 Sports Illustrated Feature
In September 1979, as the Buccaneers went 4-0 Sports Illustrated ran a feature on the story of the year as Tampa Bay was unbeaten, untied and unbelievable . The Bucs would go on to a 5-0 start, the NFC Central Division title and a narrow loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game.
