The Bucs' 4th round pick in the 2008 draft and the 115th overall selection having moved up in the 4th round to select him. A strong, quick defensive tackle who can tie up the interior of the line. A two-year starter who has a good combination of size, speed and agility and is equally adept at stopping the run or rushing the passer. Earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior when he emerged as one of the leaders of the defense. Played in the 2008 Senior Bowl and took part in the NFL Scouting Combine. Appeared in 44 career games, starting 26 of his final 29 contests. Graduated in December 2007 with a degree in Family Studies.
