Profile
Started for 14 seasons at linebacker for the Bucs and retired as the franchise leader in games played and started. The only three games he did not start were as a rookie when the Bucs opened in a nickel formation. Was selected to 11 Pro Bowls and heads the franchise all-time tackle list by a huge margin. Received the 2000 Walter Payton/NFL Man of the Year award for his off-the-field achievements. Recorded the second-longest play in franchise history with a 97-yard interception return against Baltimore in Week 2 of the 2002 season. Also scored in the Super Bowl when he returned an errant Rich Gannon pass for the Bucs' fifth touchdown of the game.
