Profile
Released in February 2009 after 14 seasons in the NFL and having lost a step in speed. Started every game for the 13th straight season and ranked second on the team with tackles with 109. Was selected to the 2008 Pro Bowl as an alternate, his 11th such accolade. Heads the franchise all-time tackle list by a huge margin. Received the 2000 Walter Payton/NFL Man of the Year award for his off-the-field achievements. Recorded the second-longest play in franchise history with a 97-yard interception return against Baltimore in Week 2 of the 2002 season. Also scored in the Super Bowl when he returned an errant Rich Gannon pass for the Bucs' fifth touchdown of the game. Has started every game since 1996 and his only missed starts as a rookie came when the Bucs opened in a nickel defense.
Pro Bowl selection 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.
Selected as the 2nd Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
