Profile
Backed up John Lynch and Dexter Jackson at both safety positions and was a key member of the special teams squads for two seasons. Played the first three games on special teams and was then traded to the Colts for an undisclosed draft pick when Tony Dungy's squad needed urgent secondary help. Wound up recording over 40 tackles for the Colts on their way to a wild-card berth in 2002. Was cut by the Colts in pre-season 2003 and signed to the Bucs' roster in October 2003 when injuries decimated the Tampa secondary. Originally wore the 46 shirt in his first two seasons but then switched to 22 for the 2002 season. On his return to the Bucs in 2003, he took the No.34 jersey to become the third Buc ever to wear three different numbers.
