Profile
Spent another season as the long-snapper but a fumble on his only reception of the season was unfortunate. Rewarded for his long NFL career by going to the Pro Bowl as a special teams' selection by Saints' coach Sean Payton. A long-time fan favourite, he originally joined the Bucs on waivers from the Dolphins in 1992 and was the longest-serving Buc player during 2006. Spent 10 seasons in Tampa in his first stint with the franchise. Left after the 2001 season when the Bills offered him a bigger contract that the Bucs could afford. A truly popular team man, he lost his fireman brother-in-law in the September 11 attack on the World Trade Centre and has done a lot for the station he worked at since. Originally wore the 83 shirt in his first stint in Tampa but took the 86 shirt when he came back in 2004 but reverted to his old number the following year.
Pro Bowl selection 2006.
Selected as the 36th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
