Profile
Punted for the Bucs for their first three seasons and hence was heavily over-worked! Also kicked on occasions during those seasons too and scored the first points in franchise history with a fieldgoal against Buffalo. Missed the 1979 season with a torn achilles tendon and then lost a training camp battle with Tom Blanchard the following season. No-one really sums up the epitomy of the Bucs in those early days better than Dave Green and he is always in demand as a guest speaker to talk about those years. Originally a 17th round pick of the Bengals back in 1972, he never played again in the NFL after leaving Tampa Bay.
