Was a gameday inactive for every game during the 2007 season having lost his starting role to rookie Arron Sears. Was the Bucs' starting left guard when injury permitted in 2006 but was eventually played on injured reserve in early December. Had won the starting left guard job in 2005 training camp when Matt Stinchcomb got hurt and promptly kept the job all season and started every game. Was a great run blocker and deservedly was named to every All-Rookie team in 2005. Was traded to the Chicago Bears just prior to the start of the 2008 season for a low-round draft pick.
