Played parts of two seasons with the Bucs as a 4th round pick out of Illinois. Started his first five games in the pros at strong safety before being hampered by toe and shoulder injuries having scored on an interception return against the Falcons during the pre-season. Played the season opener in 1987 before going on IR and was released. Went on to play three games with the Colts later that season and then the 1988 season with Indianapolis making four starts in the process.
