Signed during 1984 to cover injury problems and played parts of three seasons in the Buc secondary, starting six games. Was originally drafted in the 4th round by the Colts as part of the Longhorn secondary that had all four members selected in the same year. Was waived by the Colts in camp as a rookie and joined the Bucs as a free agent in November 1984, playing the final three games that year with a cast on a broken wrist. Made six starts at strong safety as a Buc and the other ten at free safety. Did return to the Colts for the 1987 replacement games and played in all three making an interception in the process.
