Signed as a free agent after the final roster cuts around the NFL from the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he played in four games during the 2011 season. Appeared in 12 games for the Bucs but was a gameday inactive for the final three having seen nothing more than back-up and rotation action on the defensive line during the season. Was released after the 2012 season. Prior to his time in Jacksonville, he spent two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, who selected him in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
