Profile
Lost his starting free safety spot in training camp to Ronde Barber and was relegated to nothing more than special teams' coverage action before being placed on IR for the third straight season. Had twice replaced Tanard Jackson during his first two years as a starter in the defensive backfield. Has always played way beyond everyone's expectations having been a 7th round pick in the 2010 draft. Scored his first NFL touchdown in his second ever start in Cincinnati. Plays way beyond his size and is the son of former NFL great Russ Grimm, a four-time Pro Bowler on the offensive line with the Washington Redskins.
