Profile
Spent three seasons as back-up to Doug Williams and only saw duty on seven occasions in a mop-up role. Went to the USFL and won two championships under Jim Mora for the Baltimore/Philadelphia Stars (as pictured below). Passed for over 10,000 yards (843 of 1,382 for 10,051) with the Stars and led all-USFL QBs with 66 TDs and a QB rating of 88.6 in the process. Was the runner-up in the 1978 Heisman Trophy and led Penn State to a 29-3 mark in games he started. On his return to the NFL after the USFL folded, he played briefly for the Packers.
