Profile
Will always be regarded highly by the Bucs UK as he and his wife Joanna took a day out of their vacation in 1993 to meet with club members at a special party at Phil Jones' house in Congleton. Unfortunately he will also be remembered at one of the biggest draft busts in franchise history. Picked with the seventh overall selection in the 1991 draft and the first offensive player chosen, Charles was simply too nice a guy to play tackle in the NFL and after some limited success at guard, left the Bucs after the 1995 season for an equally-forgettable time with the Raiders. Still keeps in touch with Phil and is now a happy family man back home in Tennessee. Was honoured by the Tennessee Volunteers before a game in 2003.
